Get Back Into Rhythm Through Relationship Counseling

Let’s get real for a minute.

It takes two to tango, so both dance partners need to learn the moves. Otherwise, you’re just prancing about stepping on each other’s toes.

Couples therapy provides a unique opportunity to explore all perspectives of the relationship to make sure you’re in step.

Like an experienced dance instructor, I help couples pinpoint where they’re out of sync and teach better choreography for navigating conflict. We’ll identify your stumbling blocks and learn techniques to restore your rhythmic flow.

All sessions are 90 minutes long. Payment is due at the time of service.

What to expect from Relationship counseling

The Gottman Institute’s relationship counseling methods are recognized as one of the most effective, research-supported approaches for helping couples achieve long-lasting fulfillment and connection.

Choosing a Gottman-qualified therapist increases your chances of making meaningful breakthroughs in your relationship. I am a Gottman Level 2 qualified therapist with the skills and experience to guide couples through scientifically proven methods to increase satisfaction with their relationships.

I work with couples and ethically non-monogamous people to:

  • Focus on deeper issues to go beyond resolving surface conflicts to uncover each partner’s deeper emotions, needs, and patterns.

  • Introduce easy-to-use techniques for conflict management, communication, intimacy building, and friendship cultivation.

Couples who engage in Gottman relationship therapy report greater improvements in their relationship health compared to standard approaches.

The Prepare/Enrich Approach

A newer edition to my relationship therapy practice is Prepare/Enrich training, which functions like short-term relationship coaching. It focuses on understanding and bridging common differences experienced between partners.

Using this structured approach, couples gain insights and practical tools to build greater support and relationship satisfaction. During our sessions, I coach partners on how to tap into their unique strengths while overcoming challenges that interfere with intimacy.

Though effective for many, Prepare/Enrich currently has limitations in serving ethically non-monogamous relationships.
